When does a growing business need a brand strategy?

When the marketing that got you here stops working as hard as it used to. That's usually the signal — not a rebrand for the sake of it, but because the business has outgrown its current identity or is hitting a ceiling it can't spend its way through.

What's the difference between brand strategy and marketing?

Brand strategy defines what you stand for and why someone should choose you over everyone else. Marketing is how you take that to market. One without the other is either a well-kept secret or a budget burning exercise.

How much does brand strategy cost in Australia?

It depends on where you're starting from and how far you need to go. At Mayd we work across three tiers — from the essentials for businesses that need sharp foundations, through to full strategy, identity and execution for those ready to build something that lasts.

How long does a brand project take?

Most brand strategy and identity projects run between 6 and 12 weeks. Marketing Mayd is a 12-month engagement — long enough to build the brand, run the marketing, learn what works and hand it over to the right in-house hire.

What makes Mayd different from other brand agencies?

Our founders ran marketing inside some of Australia's most recognised businesses before building Mayd — not as consultants, but as the people accountable for the numbers. That's the difference between brand work that looks good in a deck and brand work that actually moves the business.
